Business Development Coordinator - Audio Products

Location: Buffalo, New York
Reports To: Vice President - Sales

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Business development with new and existing customers
  • In support of development activities, conduct market research, compile market intelligence and trends for the assigned region and/or target accounts
  • Seek, research and develop sales opportunities leading to successful order bookings
  • Perform sales functions and service customers, including submissions of quotations, samples, order validation functions, etc.
  • Via interfacing with Stetron's Asian based facilities and utilizing market intelligence and/or company guidelines, establish appropriate product pricing for opportunities.
  • Work closely with the engineering department to ensure prompt follow up to customer requests for information quotes, samples, technical information etc.
  • Promote and maintain Stetron's image as a professional and capable supplier.
  • Become fully knowledgeable of Stetron's products, customers and opportunities
  • Achieve product knowledge to a level which enables review of customers' specifications, in order to follow through with the necessary product selection and required actions.
  • Execute cold calls, forecasting and sales analysis functions as required.
  • To visit customers along with the outside sales personnel when required.
  • To work in an organized, efficient manner. To ensure all documentation relating to the customers and to all information received from the customer is filed in the correct location.
  • To communicate effectively. All concerns should be brought to the manager's attention immediately.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Solid business acumen
  • The willingness to learn
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, drive to succeed, initiative and the right attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Accepting of 2-6 days of overnight travel per month, or as required
  • Minimum 10 years of related business development experience
  • The ability to take initiative and to do whatever is necessary (within company guidelines & policy) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Preference will be given to individuals with experience with audio products such as speaker drivers and piezos/buzzers OEMs
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office
  • Diligent, hardworking and above all trustworthy
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize work in an organized and efficient manner.

Compensation: Package includes a base salary, commission structure, plus incentive plan. Comprehensive benefits package included.
