New Anechoic Chamber will increase customer service and custom designs
BUFFALO, NY and MARKHAM, ON, CA - December 1, 2002 - Stetron International, Inc. is pleased to announce its newly upgraded state-of-the-art anechoic chamber, designed to significantly enhance its products through improved custom loudspeaker testing and application design.
The new chamber builds upon Stetron's existing speaker driver modeling expertise. The anechoic chamber is supported by PC-based electro-acoustic test systems to characterize drivers, loudspeaker design software to model speaker performance in a variety of enclosures, and driver design software to determine optimum Thiele-Small parameters and raw material selection.
This new Anechoic Chamber, along with our upgraded speaker modeling software, allows us to significantly speed up our custom speaker design time, while improving the sound quality and manufacturability of the final product.
The 2148 cu. ft. chamber is combined with our PC-based electro-acoustic test system to measure Thiele-Small parameters, frequency response (MLS, FFT & gated sine analysis) and third-octave analysis.
